HOW TO CREATE FOLDERS (I have XP)



Create New Folder On Desktop
  • Right click anywhere on an open area of the desktop. Select New and then click Folder.
  • A new folder is created on the desktop.


  • You can name the folder anything you want, type the new name and then hit enter on the keyboard.


Create New Folder In My Documents
  • Windows XP has made it easy...Any folder you open (My Documents) has a "Make a new folder" link that you just click and the new folder is created.


  • To name your new folder OR rename an old folder, left click on the folder..(it will highlight..blue) and then on the left panel, click on "Rename this folder".
  • Type the New Name...and then hit Enter on your keyboard.
